LinkedIn Labs just released a pretty nifty app that let’s you turn your LinkedIn profile into a resume with just one click!
The app grabs your LinkedIn profile and formats it into a resume. In fact, there’s a ton of templates to choose from.
As much as I like the novelty, I don’t know how usable it is. Why? Because your LinkedIn profile isn’t your resume! And just because you can format it like a resume doesn’t mean it’s going to make a good resume.
My suggestion is to only use it if you are under the wire. Otherwise, write a real resume (or have someone write a resume for you).
