If you are a frequent reader of the LinkedIn Makeover Blog, you may know that my office is just outside beautiful Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Here in PA we have some odd events. Every year in Phoenixville we celebrate the anniversary of the movie, The Blob! This Blobfest celebration includes a mad dash out of the Colonial Movie Theater, just like in the movie. After the running out, we head next door for the Blob Ball in which MY favorite band, The Rivers Rockabilly Trio plays songs from the 1950′s and everyone dances! Yes, it’s true I am a VERY LONG TIME FAN of the band and in my fandom, I have done some Social Media consulting work for them. That may explain this very awesome plug they gave my book, LinkedIn Makeover: Professional Secrets to a POWERFUL LinkedIn Profile, during their concert:
