On Cancelled Product Orders
You purchased either the DIY Package, LinkedIn Toolbox or my eBook package. I will refund 100% of your money if you are unhappy with the material as long as you notify me via email within 24 hours of placing your order. Each login and download of information conveys to me that you are using the material. There are no refunds after 24 hours of placing your order.
On Cancelled Service Orders Prior to Work Being Completed
Full Refund: if cancelled within 5 days of order being placed AND prior to downloading the questionnaire.
Eighty percent (80%): if cancelled after work beginning BUT PRIOR TO DRAFTS/FINALS DELIVERED; Vision Board Media is entitled to twenty percent (20%) administrative and processing fee.
Why a fee? There is a lot of administration work done to get your profile queued, reviewed, and scheduled. Even if work wasn't performed, your order was processed and reviewed by a human being who requires compensation for their time.
No refunds after 60 days
With that said, we would be more than happy to complete your order and write your LinkedIn profile at any time. There's only two caveats. If our pricing changes within the time it takes you to place the order and actually embark upon our process, the service that most closely matches the price you paid will be provided. If you want a different level of service, you must upgrade to the new pricing. There are no downgrades available. The second caveat is, if you embark upon your LinkedIn Makeover and the time to complete it goes over 60 days (this is not due to us but to your scheduling), I cannot refund your order if something occurs. The reason for this is my credit card processor does not allow me to refund money after this time.
On Service Termination After Work is Completed
So work has been completed but you are not happy. I cannot stress enough that we want you to be happy and we will do everything we can to create a LinkedIn profile or resume that reflects you. We will go back to the drawing table and revamp it to your expectations. You didn't like the writer? We can assign a new writer. We have worked with thousands of professionals from all over the world and I know we can make it right. However, if you decide you do not want to move forward with another round of editing, I will provide you an eighty percent (80%) refund within 60 days of purchase. Notice must be provided within 1 day of receiving your first draft.
If a refund is provided because you are not happy with our service, you must remove all our writing from your profile.
If you intend to keep any of our work, I will work with you to determine the percentage that you are keeping and that is the percentage that will NOT be refunded to you.
Client will NOT be entitled to a refund under any of the following circumstances:
- Client has approved our work.
- Client has changed scope during OR after the process.
- Client has terminated the service for invalid and unacceptable reasons.
- Project has been inactive for more than 60 days.
We make no express of implied guarantees of employment or SEO. We will help you look good on LinkedIn but it is up to you to secure a position with a company.
Live Editing of your LinkedIn ProfileYou have a choice, you can have us update your LinkedIn profile for you OR you can opt to update it yourself. If you choose to update your profile yourself, we will provide you with a document containing your optimized LinkedIn profile.
LinkedIn frowns upon sharing your login information. Regardless, we do believe it is a choice and you decide if you'd like to share your login information with us. If you provide us with your login and password, I HIGHLY recommend changing your LinkedIn password. You can find directions on changing your LinkedIn password here.
By providing us with your LinkedIn login information, you are granting us permission to make changes to your LinkedIn profile. You accept full responsibility for all activity conducted and all edits made to your LinkedIn account and agree to and hereby release Vision Board Media / LinkedIn-Makeover.com / Donna Serdula from any and all liability concerning such activity.
There are times when we are unable to update your profile directly because of location issues. LinkedIn sometimes prevents login attempts from different countries. When this happens, we will provide you your LinkedIn profile in template form.
