LinkedIn Education Gets a GRADE!
Today I was optimizing a LinkedIn profile for a recruiter and I stumbled upon a NEW FIELD! The education section has a new field called, GRADE! Yes, LinkedIn now allows you to enter your grade for the school you attended. It’s actually a rather odd field. It says grade, not GPA. In my mind, there is a difference. I think of a grade as a mark for a class. The GPA is the overall average of time spent in school. Of course, that could just be me. It always happens. You tell a person you will write them an awesome recommendation to post on their LinkedIn profile but instead you find yourself staring blankly at your computer screen at a total loss for words. What to do, what to do? Endorser to the rescue! This amazing little tool coughs up LinkedIn recommendations in a blink of an eye. Having written hundreds and hundreds of LinkedIn profiles, I have seen every kind of password imaginable and I’d have to say, the most popular password is tennis. Any password that could be found in a dictionary, such as tennis, is a very insecure password. You see, hackers run dictionary attacks by successively logging in using a word list derived from a dictionary. Why would a hacker want to...

I was writing LinkedIn profiles prior to the debut of this Website but I only offered these services to my clients in my local area. I remember sitting down with a little tablet and writing down potential domain names. I couldn’t decide between LinkedIn Makeover and LinkedIn Facelift. Gosh, I am glad I went with LinkedIn Makeover! LinkedIn Facelift sounds rather ominous, doesn’t it? It’s been such an amazing ride. I LOVE working...
