I was doing a LinkedIn makeover the other day when the weirdest thing happened. I couldn’t find the Summary section! I was viewing the LinkedIn profile and the section was missing. Panic started to set in and I performed a ton of searches on Google and found NOTHING on this issue. It was then that I decided that I was clearly going insane and I would just start on a different part of the profile and maybe the missing section would reappear later. As it turns out, the missing section DID appear! It was just lower on the page. A few months back, LinkedIn brought you the ability to reorder the sections on your LinkedIn profile via drag-and-drop. And so the issue was not LinkedIn’s but rather user error!
If you are missing a LinkedIn Profile section, just scroll down through the entire profile. The section is most likely just out of the typical LinkedIn order.
