Timing: Your Project Timeline

A Year to Embark

Purchased our service? You’ve got a year from purchase to start your project. We’re looking forward to seeing your vision take flight!

Three-Month Creation Window

Once the project kicks off (meaning you sent us your questionnaire or we got you partnered with a writer/branding specialist), you have a three-month window to bring it to completion. We’re not clock-watchers – we’re collaborators eager to see you succeed.

Pauses and Life’s Unexpected Turns

If life throws a curveball and you need to hit pause, no worries – just let us know in writing, and we’ll be right here waiting to continue when you’re ready as long as it’s within 6 months of placing the order. 

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Product Orders

Not thrilled with your purchase? If it’s within 24 hours, we’ve got your back with a 100% refund. After that, we trust you’re enjoying your new tools!

Service Orders Before Work Begins

If a change of heart occurs within 5 days of your order and you haven’t yet submitted the questionnaire, you’re completely covered with a full refund. It’s our way of respecting your decision-making process. 

Should more than 5 days pass and you haven’t submitted the questionnaire, a 95% refund awaits you, should you wish to end our project. We hold off a small 5% because, by this time, we’ve already set the stage for our collaboration, reserving resources specifically for you. 

And if after submitting your questionnaire you find the need to cancel before we’ve rolled up our sleeves for the interview or begun the crafting process, an 80% refund is yours. At this stage, we’ve already started to lay the groundwork based on your detailed responses.

We aim to be as fair and transparent as possible, ensuring that we can continue to offer dedicated service and attention to all our clients.

Service Termination After Work is Completed

If the completed work hasn’t hit the mark, let’s talk ASAP! Our goal is your complete satisfaction, which means revising, rewriting, or refunding (as long as it’s within the 60 days of placing your order). We’ll discuss what feels fair – that could be a full refund if we’re at fault, or a calculated refund if you choose to use parts of our work.

We make no express of implied guarantees of employment or SEO. We will help you look good on LinkedIn but it is up to you to secure a position with a company.

Odds & Ends

Price Changes & Service Levels

From time to time, we may adjust our pricing. If you purchased a service and the price changed, we will honor the exact service you purchased for 60 days from the order date. After 60 days, we’ll provide a service that matches the value of your original payment. Eyeing an upgrade? Just pay the difference as long as the project is underway. No downgrades, though.

LinkedIn Profile Edits

You decide – we can spruce up your LinkedIn profile, or you can take the DIY route with our guidance. Sharing your login details? Consider changing your password afterward for safety.

If you choose to update your profile yourself, we will provide you with a document containing your optimized LinkedIn profile.

LinkedIn frowns upon sharing your login information. Regardless, we do believe it is a choice and you decide if you’d like to share your login information with us. If you provide us with your login and password, I HIGHLY recommend changing your LinkedIn password. You can find directions on changing your LinkedIn password here.

By providing us with your LinkedIn login information, you are granting us permission to make changes to your LinkedIn profile. You accept full responsibility for all activity conducted and all edits made to your LinkedIn account and agree to and hereby release Vision Board Media / LinkedIn-Makeover.com / Donna Serdula from any and all liability concerning such activity.

There are times when we are unable to update your profile directly because of location issues. LinkedIn sometimes prevents login attempts from different countries. If this happens, we will provide you your LinkedIn profile in template form.

Your Review & Strategy Sessions

Thirty days to book your review session after receiving the initial draft. If the days slip by, we’ll consider it final and you can perform the upload to LinkedIn– but we’re always here for a Returning Client Update.

Need to Reschedule? Please No No-Shows!

Got to cancel or reschedule? We understand – just give us a 24-hour heads-up. Missed appointments get one rebooking chance; a second no-show means you’ve forfeited the session. We will assume you are happy with the work and that you will perform your own upload.
