It’s Sunday afternoon and I am almost ready to leave for the airport. I am spending the week in Chicago with my family. My cousin Sharon and her family moved to Chicago many years ago. Last year, my mom, sister, and I visited for Christmas. We had such a great time that we decided to do it again. The main difference is we are not driving this time! The drive from Philadelphia to Chicago was not easy. This time we are taking Southwest airlines. Little Bo is coming with us. He’s my sister’s 8-year-old puppy and he will stay in a carrier under the seat in front of her.
I am looking forward to getting away for a few days and spending time with my family. Although I plan on resting, I am bringing my laptop and will be completing the orders that are in process. All calls are being forwarded to my cell phone and if I don’t immediately pick up, I will return the call as soon as I can.
Operations will return to normal on January 2, 2013.
