It was two years ago I decided to offer my LinkedIn profile writing services to the world! I was writing LinkedIn profiles prior to the debut of this Website but I only offered these services to my clients in my local area.
I remember sitting down with a little tablet and writing down potential domain names. I couldn’t decide between LinkedIn Makeover and LinkedIn Facelift. Gosh, I am glad I went with LinkedIn Makeover! LinkedIn Facelift sounds rather ominous, doesn’t it?
It’s been such an amazing ride. I LOVE working with people from all over the world and helping them create a strong profile on LinkedIn. I’ve worked with people from Australia, New Zealand, Russia, France, Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, India, Canada, and so many other places! What really surprised me is despite the cultural differences, all my customers share one thing in common. They recognize the power of the Internet and how important it is to use this technology to shape their own digital identity. They realize that in order to succeed, they need to take control of their Internet presence and truly present themselves in a way that inspires, impresses, and builds confidence in their abilities, products, and services.
My original plan was to strictly optimize LinkedIn profiles but my services have shifted to include LinkedIn strategy and training sessions. The One on One session is not just about creating a POWERFUL LinkedIn profile, it’s aim is also to help people understand HOW they can leverage LinkedIn to promote themselves and find the opportunity they seek.
My goal moving forward is to continue to help people build a POWERFUL presence on LinkedIn but to also offer other products to help them leverage LinkedIn. I am currently writing my second eBook and I plan to offer many more eBooks in the months to come. I also plan to offer Webinars and DVDs so even more people can take advantage of my services. I also want to continue to present to companies, groups, and associations on the power of LinkedIn. I hope over the next year to speak to companies and groups outside of the Philadelphia area.
